Current Employee - Software Engineer

I have been working at Yelp full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Cutting edge technologies A lot of teams with various types of problems Corporate culture Awesome coworkers Office in SF downtown

Cons

Pay is a bit low (especially i you live in SF) Medical benefits could be better (especially dental)

Current Contractor - Independent Contractor

I have been working at Mightybytes for more than 3 years

Pros

Mission driven clients, really nice people to work with and a culture of care for critical things like the earth and people in addition to profit.

Cons

It's literally my favorite contracting gig; I have nothing bad to say about the place. They had high turnover last year but I believe they've found the right people for the long-term now and so far... this year has been stable.

Advice to Management

Keep up the stellar work.
