Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Yodle full-time for more than a year

Pros

Fun, good training, free lunch, solid training, approachable management. Relaxed dress code. Gym and showers on site.

Cons

It can sometimes be a ZOO. Loud, crazy work environment. Free food and sitting all day will make you gain weight so be careful!

Advice to Management

There is a little bit of good ole boy favoritism. Rely to much on scripts. Employees are basically trained Monkeys.

Current Employee - Marketing Consultant

I have been working at SmartBug Media full-time for less than a year

Pros

Amazing company culture, excellent wages, lots of time off, remote lifestyle, an amazing company retreat each year, and a very supportive team of individuals from the top down. The CEO, Ryan,... genuinely cares about his employees. I can't say I've ever had someone that has spent the time to listen to me as an employee, and cared about my growth as an employee.

Cons

The only thing that really IMO isn't a "con" is that the health insurance benefits are not the best I've ever had. They're great, but would be the only area where I'd say could use slight improvement.... In the grand scheme of this fantastic company, its a small fish in a really big pond of amazing things.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. You've built a team of amazing people that make me excited to get up and get to work every day. I'm genuinely the happiest I've ever been, and when you're happy at work, it... reflects in your everyday life at home too.
