Amazing company culture, very easy to talk to anyone. Laid back company as long as you do what you need to do. Pay is good, feels ike friends at work not just coworkers.

I have been working at NCSA Next College Student Athlete full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

I believe that there is always room for improvement in any company, and NCSA is no different in that sense. Where NCSA has set themselves apart in 2020, however, is the importance being placed on... teammate safety and well-being during this pandemic. The offices are closed and will remain that way until there's a safe way for employees to return, time has been given to help employees who have been directly impacted by COVID-19, whether in their own illness or to take care of a sick family member, and new efforts are underway to help working parents find more balance this fall between work and increased day-to-day childcare needs. There's increased emphasis on making mental health resources available for employees and more outreach than ever to hear directly from employees on how they can be better supported.

Cons

You're expected to work hard and be held accountable. There are very few places to hide or coast in your role, and this type of environment doesn't work for everyone. But if you're willing to put in... the hours and give your best, there are many ways to succeed at NCSA.

Advice to Management

Keep asking for feedback and making adjustments accordingly. Trust your employees to do the right thing.
