Career opportunities have been minimal
Great people to work with on the team I was part of, paid well for the position compared to other companies, and engaging environment which was all in person at the time. It was never overbearing,... the work was manageable as long as you set boundaries, and everyone was very understanding of timeframes, etc.
Hard to get a sense of future when you're on a contract basis, and sometimes it was hard to get straight answers, especially when your contract was on a project basis, but I think longevity is... limited in all contract settings. Probably with a smaller company though, it might be easier to get some answers in that sense, even if they're not the answers you want, so you can plan for the future better.
