Dialysis Clinic, Inc., or DCI, is dedicated to caring for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). The not-for-profit company, which operates a network of more than 210 dialysis centers in roughly 25 states, also provides kidney transplant assistance services. Affiliate DCI Donor Services is an organ and tissue procurement agency. DCI also funds kidney-related research and educational programs and is affiliated with various universities and teaching hospitals throughout the US, including Tufts University, the University of Arizona, and Tulane University. DCI was established in 1971 by nephrologist Keith Johnson.
