What is a typical working day like at 14 West?

Pros

The company is good at pushing your limits! There were a lot of happy hours and such BUT they have stopped all of this - the culture has shifted negatively.

Cons

The guidance from leadership is extremely difficult to follow. They focus on owning their own components and don't lead well (all first-time leadership members). And, they change their priorities continually without any idea of the outcome or impact on the teams making them come early/stay late - then upset because of the things that fell off because of the priority shift. In short, the leadership doesn't treat people with respect (you will be micromanaged OR not managed at all and let go).

Advice to Management

Come together with a mission and vision! And, follow what you say with the actions that back up your words.

then upset because of the things that fell off because of the priority shift.

What is the work environment like at 14 West?

Pros

14 West is an amazing place to work. I couldn't have picked a better place to start my career in Human Resources. New ideas are always welcomed and growth is encouraged. The employees are really motivated to see each other succeed and it is a really collaborative environment with a great corporate culture. It is cool to be a part of a team that goes above and beyond to make sure that each employee and each affiliate is accommodated for in whatever they may need.

Cons

I don't have any cons to speak of at the moment.

Advice to Management

The management is wonderful. They make sure that each employee feels heard and valued no matter what level they are at in their career.

What are working conditions like at 14 West?

Pros

Our offices are really nice and the people are really friendly. One of the biggest things at the moment is that you can make a big impact since no one will hold you back from trying new things.

Cons

Although the offices are great, they lack meeting rooms and a little more space in general. Also, more transparency across teams would be great.

Advice to Management

Try to get a bigger office with more meeting rooms and a little more updates on what is going on.
