Pros

I really enjoyed working here. I felt supported by my clinical supervisor and I felt heard. I loved my co-workers. I felt the organization to overall be positive and supportive of employees. A New Leaf also provided great training opportunities and professional development for me.

Cons

The caseloads could be high and it was difficult to be a successful therapist with 100 clients.

Pros

The organization's programs do a lot of good for people in the community. Leadership is open to adapting services to better meet people's needs. Employees feel valued and like they are contributing to a greater good. Employees are encouraged to suggest and participate in training for professional development and there are opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Cons

Like other nonprofits, staffing and resources can be a challenge. Sometimes you have to be creative and willing to put in a little extra to get the job done.
