Pros

Great pay and benefits, major holidays off and paid for them. All around it's a wonderful company to work for. Its very busy and the days go by fast. Always moving

Cons

Manaher premium is nice when you are manager. But when you are an associate you are expected to do everything managers already do. Lots of lazy employees that are making the same associate pay as you and they do half the work. They also get the same raise when it's not deserved.

Advice to Management

Managers work their tails off whether they are associates or managers instead of the premium they just always get a higher base pay. And raises should be based on performance. Why am I someone who working hard get the same amount of money and raise as someone who goes in slacking and doing the bare minimum?

Great pay and benefits, major holidays off and paid for them.

Pros

I’ve learned a lot. Always busy. Supportive leaders. 401k, health benefits, paid sick and vacation time, and pay is decent.

Cons

Senior employees make more than current supervisors. Everyone is so nice you think you’re having a conversation about something but really it’s a verbal warning but that’s never made clear. Very little say in how things are done.

Advice to Management

Just be honest and say what you mean to say and follow through with it.Do not pick and chose who rules apply to.

401k, health benefits, paid sick and vacation time, and pay is decent.

Pros

Great pay & raises, paid holidays, increased paid time off, vacation and sick days the more you work, not to mention the benefits offered are pretty solid . You have a lot of responsibility and it garners a lot of mutual respect amongst coworkers. Until management changed, they worked with my school schedule very well. Hard work is noticed, as I was offered a managerial position after only a year of employment and shown ability and dedication.

Cons

Throwing truck in the morning can be rough if you have had back problems in the past. Tough to obtain normal daylight shifts and you will likely have many closing and daylong (11-7/8 or 12-8/9) shifts when you start. Often asked to come in on days off. When I resumed my full course load at college, I was not given fair shifts or hours and seemed to not be worth as much to them as I did beforehand. However,I did work for one of the worst stores in the district, so these may have been store-specific. It has since seen a major turnover of management at the store and district level as well as a full renovation.

Advice to Management

Respect the availability schedules of students and give new hires a chance to work more shifts than all-day mids or closes.

Great pay & raises, paid holidays, increased paid time off, vacation and sick days the more you work, not to mention the benefits offered are pretty solid .
