How is management perceived at Alan’s Jewelry & Pawn?

Pros

You get to thank the owner for letting you work there 😂

Cons

30 days notice for days off Bait and switch customers on store sales (lie to customers) Lie to employees No structure 2 employees went out under doctors orders and we’re demoted both times. No pay raises. I was a store manager for 1 1/2 years without a raise. Owner verbally abused and threatens employees which was reported to Human Resources whom promised no repercussions for the report. The employee was demoted after returning to work. Fired an assistant store management for failing to provide him what he needed when the store manager was out. Overall the absolute worst company I have ever worked for.

Advice to Management

They are a lost cause. Advice wouldn’t be sufficient at this point.

I was a store manager for 1 1/2 years without a raise.
