Pay is very good for the work being done. Benefits are flat-out amazing. Decent 401k match. Lots of free meals and employee recognition. Good place to get some experience.

Cons

Upper management at the Shakopee DC has a severe nepotism problem that is readily apparent to everyone that works there but somehow escapes the notice of the regional directors. If you are not one of the "favored" you will be given an absurd amount of work that no reasonable person could complete and then terminated when you fail to accomplish it. I personally saw this happen to five other supervisors and/or managers in my time there.

Pros

Cons

Mandatory OT, Mgmt does not care about the employees, everything you do is monitored and you have metrics to meet or you get fired.

Advice to Management

PLEASE treat your employees like people and not robots.

Pros

Before several shakeups, training, experience and travel were regular parts of the job. The benefits are pretty good, everyone starts off with 20 days of PTO plus holidays, parental leave and such. Some life balance flexibility depending on your department.

Cons

The management in place while I was employed changed often and were inexperienced for the jobs they were in. As with a lot of companies there is a club and you are either in or out of it and will determine if you move up in the organization. Hard time retaining new talent in the last couple years.
