What is paid time off like at Angi?

Pros

-- The culture was my initial attraction and has never disappointed. I've never felt so important and celebrated in my entire career. -- The ability to hire for several umbrella's within the business has been eye opening and satisfying. I've watched this business change the lives of so many individuals. I've never seen an organization go whatever length it takes to truly support each individual no matter what role you're in. -- Our CEO believes he's the smallest person on the "totem pole" and truly embodies this in everything he does. His belief that we're nothing without the people who contribute to every part of our business. It's amazing to see him "walk the walk" -- Work/life balance and WFH has been uber successful with our business. It's been a priority of the org to deliver an immense amount of work/life balance with schedules, time off and the overall encouragement to enjoy your personal life as much as humanly possible. We truly believe in the importance of a healthy lifestyle as an individual. -- Our equity and diversity focus has been incredibly refreshing and exciting to watch grow. Seeing an entire org focus on diversity of teams and brining different backgrounds in intentionally has fostered an even more enhanced collaboration than we have ever had. -- Speaking personally, I've accomplished more professionally in my time here with the support of our leadership as a whole than i have in the entirety of my career. I've grown professionally, but also in my personal life/goals in ways that I would have never imagined. -- We also promote from within every chance we get, I've never seen so many people be promoted from within the org VS obtaining an external leader. If growth is important to you, you'll find it here!

Cons

-- Our company changes very frequently, as we navigate growth. We're a tech company who is very focused on innovation and success -- with those accomplishments and growth, comes change. If consistent change is a struggle for an individual, you may find challenges. However, we'll work with you to understand changes and accompany your success through those transitions. You're never alone.

It's been a priority of the org to deliver an immense amount of work/life balance with schedules, time off and the overall encouragement to enjoy your personal life as much as humanly possible.

Employee Story
Happy National Intern Day!🎓 Angi is proud to be a part of IAC's fellowship program where interns get the opportunity to work on meaningful projects & use that experience to start a career. We sat down with: John Stauffer and Yifan Yu to learn about their experience and how they landed full-time roles on the Angi team: John Stauffer (Sr. Engineer I): "Theory and practice are very different things, especially when it comes to Software Engineering. The mentorship and guidance provided to me as an intern bridged that gap and allowed me to tackle real-world problems while building the confidence to be successful as a full-time engineer." Yifan Yu (Engineer I): "I joined the Angi mobile development team as an intern the summer of 2020. I learned invaluable lessons building consumer facing products. It was beyond satisfying to see my changes becoming a part of the Angi app. The enthusiasm, empathy, and patience of my mentors inspired me to become a part of Angi. I am blessed to pursue the same passion everyday, as a full-time developer, to help people love where they live."
