What is paid time off like at Angi?

Pros

- Many departments to move between to change things up while keeping tenure. - Awesome coworkers, I've made lifetime friendships here. - Flexible clock in times. - Great pay, benefits, lots of PTO, and paid holidays. - I feel appreciated by management for the work I do and they find creative ways to show it on a regular basis. - The company is now fully remote, and working from home is amazing.

Cons

- Change is the only constant here. Be prepared keep up and take initiative to always learn more and seek information. - Not as much communication between departments as I would like to see.

Advice to Management

A yearly or quarterly meeting of the minds between different departments to share common objections we each face in order to overcome them better as a company I think would benefit everyone.

Advice to Management

Treat your employees like they are your own family. This past week client success employees all recieved a $15,000 salary cut. This brought client success II employees to $30, 000 a year. This all happened the same week as the president of Angie's list made the following announcement: " 5 years ago Angie's List was unprofitable now we are highly profitable". So why are we now taking a 33% pay cut? Greed? Okay, just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page but this is not how they spin it. Instead they tell us they are investing this $15,000 into our new bonus structure. The bonus is paid out based on a rolling 3 month churn average, which will continue to spiral out of control due to turnover in our department and upper managements decision to not backfill our positions. We take on more, make less and have to look for new jobs because most employees cannot afford to live off of our new salaries. The biggest reason advertisers are leaving Angie's List is because our leadership team decided to change the way customers search. We force them to go through a sales funnel which will then send Angies List customers to any of our companies that advertise on Home Advisor first. This lead is sold multiple times over and make more money until that Home Advisor advertisers monthly buget is maxed out. When this is finally done then they send what is left to the Angies List advertisers. Now Angie's List advertisers will only get scraps unless they are one of the top market spenders. This is why Angie's List advertisers are cancelling and it is our job to save these accounts from leaving. We have expessed our concerns during the last year but as a company continues to make more money exploiting both it's clientele and their employees it just falls on deaf ears. This was once a career now it is a nightmare!

Great coworkers and benefits package.
