Does AppDynamics offer relocation assistance?
Pros
Our people are the greatest! If you love working in groups, collaborating with others, and winning (or yes, sometimes failing) as a team, send your resume because that's a huge part of this organization. Integration is hard for all companies and we have the financial and intellectual backing to achieve our Observability goals! We are not just improving APM (like our competitors are doing), we are delivering Full Stack solutions that will change how companies deliver on customer/user satisfaction and business improvement. The comp package is great - while some may point out mid-range salaries, the full benefits package delivers on so much more Work-life balance is encouraged and that encouragement is backed by supporting benefits Focus on people, local communities, and global issues is at the forefront of our mission - it is great to be part of a company that has an impact beyond its mission as a business
Cons
We are in transition and the change in scope of vision can be a bit elusive right now. New products can overwhelm teams who have historically been deep experts in a specific capability - this results in attrition when not managed well. Joining Cisco was a culture shock and can be a turnoff to some. Turnover has been high as we retool and rebuild to support the future (I don't think this will last, but it is our reality right now)
Advice to Management
Data is not knowledge - build up the excitement for the teams using the data rather than presenting the data and assuming people will get excited about it Refocus on our culture - Cisco has a great culture, but it feels like we are hoping that trickles down to us - AppD needs our own culture and our own identity, it is not just about product and numbers. Keep pushing to faster releases, better releases, and innovation - we will win the market and help customers in ways they (and we) cannot even imagine

Does AppDynamics offer family leave?
Pros
Cool perks, really good benefits under Cisco, 19 -21 weeks maternity leave, 401k match, great stock plan
Cons
Great culture on paper, BUT in practice was one of the most toxic places I’ve ever worked. Definitely a boys club…if you were minority of any kind (person of color or female) you were treated as less than and had to work twice as hard for any promotions. New female managers were the most toxic of all…even going as far as to sabotage multiple people’s promotions simply due to personal judgements and not performance or merit. Managers bad talked reps behind backs and had false sense of superiority for no reason. All the good managers were treated like crap and left. The only people left were unprofessional at best. The talent pool there kept shrinking when I was there, and the only people that got promoted were only promoted because they were all that was left.
Advice to Management
Clean house on the middle management level. Promote based on performance and not based on “brand” or opinions of toxic amateur first time managers.

Does AppDynamics offer a wellness program?
Pros
All around amazing place to work! - Management: Cares about your success and jumps in the trenches with you. No micro-managing either. - Pay: Very competitive and very rewarding for making sales. Good multipliers too - Benefits: Great benefits and office. Snacks and drinks are always stocked. We get a 20 min massage every week which is life-changing as well - Culture: Amazing family culture. Everyone gets along really well and a lot of thought has gone into making every feel included and heard. - Growth path: I have been promoted 3 times in the course of 3.5 years. You are very rewarded for working hard and getting results.
Cons
Training is done mostly through shadowing and there is not a very set course on what you should be learning. I like this way of training but it may not be for some.
Advice to Management
None - keep doing great!
Benefits: Great benefits and office.
