How is management perceived at Balsam Brands?
Pros
- Perks are continually being thought of - Incentives are given such as funds for expense reimbursement to a certain amt - Culture isn't as toxic as some companies that are outsourced - Work from home setup even before the pandemic - They have started providing company laptops
Cons
- Managers don't listen much to regular employee opinion. they will say that they do however - Pay is decent, but definitely not the most competitive in the market - Promotion and performance appraisals are just not measured solidly based on metrices and value ratings - its more like if your manager is happy with you you get a raise, but if they're not you don't get a raise even if you work hard - Managers are sometimes very rude to regular employees
Advice to Management
- Don't let the great place to work certification go into your heads - thinking Balsam is always a great company - there is still much to improve about how employees are treated - For the business owners > you'll be richer is you make your employees well rewarded and I don't just mean your typical run of the mill perks
