Pros

Remote working, flexibility to work from home is amazing. Roll over PTO, only able to roll over 40 hours (but you will get paid if you have over)

Cons

There is only 19 days PTO, no sick leave or other type of paid time off (new parent leave, I'm not familiar with). PTO is also added per pay period, so you do not start the year with 19 days, you will accumulate them through out the year Values customers, but not employees There is no time for training for your job. I know the technical aspect of my job very well, however since no one is able to train me on the business practices of the job I am still feeling very lost even though I've been working here for over a year.

Pros

Full benefits, PTO, remote work from home, tbh that's about it!

Cons

Terrible Micro management. You have calls back to back and are expected to take them all, with no down time. If you don't follow the script, you will be marked down. You must perform at a rate of 98% or above to maintain this job. There's no room for error. The training provided does not prepare you for the multitude of incoming calls. You will have little to no support. You have to ask to use the bathroom. When you get performance reviews, you won't have time to review them unless you ask. The customers that call in are mostly rude. This job is a behavioral health organization that will cause you to seek mental help. Good thing they offer benefits!

Advice to Management

Hire robots or change the way you treat humans. nobody deserves this poor excuse for a job. Calls back to back with that high of expectations is unreasonable. You likely would have more flexibility in an Amazon Factory. I cry almost everyday here Can't wait to quit. Just dont. Work anywhere else.

Pros

Friendly team, supportive coworkers. Managers are helpful and encouraging. Work from home.

Cons

The VCC (call center) is honestly difficult to work for. For the simple reason of holidays and time off. Upper management encourages self care and work like balance —but getting time off approved is a nightmare. There is only one person per team allowed off per day and then time off is closed. You’re better off calling off on a day that you need —and taking a point. Yes —you’re on a point system. I was told when I was hired that you’re required to work 1 holiday a year —makes since because we’re a call center. However, this was never the case. Most recently we have to work ~8 (including summer holidays; 4th of july, Memorial Day, and Veterans Day, mlk day, etc). If you work here for VCC CRL, get used to cancelling family vacations and not seeing family on holidays.

Advice to Management

Please fix time off policy. This is why there is such a high rate of turnover in VCC.

Pros

Decent salary Good benefits Good PTO package

Cons

The atmosphere was hectic at times. Lack of company culture. The job was not hard but processes were constantly changing. How you did things one day would be extremely different the next week. The Anthem merger aided more in-office confusion and loss of staff.
