Pros

I worked for BCBSIL for 15 years and absolutely loved my job.

Cons

In the past year I earned a promotion. I was reported to compliance on many occasions. I understand that is to make sure that the person feels safe. I was given only verbal opportunity (which felt like an interrogation) to defend myself. This became a point of he said - she said. No other way to defend myself. So in the end I was fired (same day I was trying to apply for FMLA/medical leave).

Advice to Management

Help your employees to find a way to defend themselves. Offer to put cameras up so it is not just one (or multiple) persons word against another.

No other way to defend myself.
