Does Blue Raven Solar reimburse for mileage?
Pros
Upper management seems to care about every worker. Co-workers are great and share the same goals as the companies intent. The bonus structure is good if there's work.
Cons
High turnover at corporate offices so you're always speaking with someone that doesn't really know their job that well. New hires are not trained well before being set free to run wild. Scheduling is horrible, generally not enough drive time or not enough time scheduled for the scope of work required. Middle management doesn't really seem to care about the average worker or their concerns, yet you'll be told to call, text or email them with any issue. Work-life balance isn't that great, but you may get time to spend with family during slower times as work can be scarce at times with 30 hours or less during slow periods. Mileage reimbursement is low compared to other companies and what the IRS allows.
Advice to Management
Work on employee retention at all levels, Better training for Project Ops staff before they're released into the wild to schedule, Employee surveys should mean something, Middle managements retaliation against complaints, Trust but verify middle management, Teach middle management how to bucket fill
