What is health insurance like at CHG Healthcare?

Pros

I'm given the autonomy to do my job and make a difference in the organization that I support. I feel appreciated for the work I do. Great health insurance, an onsite clinic, flexible work schedule, yoga classes.

Cons

The organization is growing by leaps and bounds and sometimes it's difficult to keep up with new employees, get to know them, and maintain a sense of community. (This is a challenge more than a con.) I like the investment options in the 401K plan, but the company match could be more competitive.

Advice to Management

You're doing great; glad to be here.

What is the retirement plan like at CHG Healthcare?

Pros

Nice company campus with good dining options, onsite medical care, good company missions.

Cons

The company sells perspective people on its "amazing" culture but doesn't deliver on PTO, salary or 401k match. You will only get 2 weeks of PTO (no sick leave or laptops for sales reps), the company actually increased the incentive to not take PTO in 2020 by increasing the sell back amount...

Advice to Management

People would stay if you increased the PTO allowance! Please keep up with your own culture standards.

What is paid time off like at CHG Healthcare?

Pros

CHG truly stands behind it's "free to be me" motto. They expect excellence, but know that it comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They've masterfully handled the covid pandemic by providing everyone the resoures and equipment to work fully remotely. They put our safety at top of mind and have kept us home even when the cities have re-opened. The benefits are amazing, great healthcare coverage, paid maternity leave, fertility treatment coverage, generous PTO. CEO is extremely transparent and caring. He'll take the time to learn your name and about you, no matter your title or tenure.

Cons

If you want to work for an excellent company, you have to be excellent. Which means standards and expectations are high. Sometimes that creates a lot of pressure and stress on the employees in terms of performance. Growth to leadership can take a while. Even if you're ready, the team and business needs to be ready, so it's sort of like waiting for the stars to align.

Does CHG Healthcare offer dental insurance?

Pros

Flex schedule, integrity & ethics plays a big part here, I love that we all trust one another & assume positive intent. Events going on all the time, feedback is taken very serious & implement. Medical & dental insurance is great, location is perfect regardless of where in the valley you live, its right off the freeway. Kitchen food is delicious & fairly priced, there's also restaurants within walking distance if the kitchen isn't to your level of satisfaction.

Cons

Managers don't all operate the same, some are great & some aren't so great. It depends on who it is. Some are a little more strict than others

Advice to Management

Standardize a lot of things that are considered "Flexible". This means differently to everyone, especially management.
