Pros

Nice people, fine management and resourcing, a lot of interesting projects, strong team with several seniors, trainings, new office, adjustable working hours

Cons

Not many downsides really, maybe lack of time for professional development, for work on yourself.

Pros

- No two days are the same - varied workload keeps things fresh. - 6 CPD days per year - opportunities to learn new skills, entirely on your own terms. - Supportive atmosphere - colleagues across the agency are always keen to help out with issues or questions. We're encouraged to experiment and learn, rather than to get everything right first time. - Exciting range of clients - some of our projects span huge international giants, whilst others allow us to work closely with small independent businesses. - Great office - the office, based in Ancoats, Manchester, is the envy of all our clients and guests who come to visit! It's a comfortable, friendly, and inspiring space. - Bonuses are available on a range of different schemes, motivating people to work hard and achieve results at all levels - Staff socials encourage the team to come together across different teams - Clear work-life balance - we're encouraged only to work our contracted hours and to seek support from a range of schemes if required.

Cons

- Fast-paced agency environment isn't for everyone. - For some people, remote working as standard can feel a little closed off (which is why the hybrid model works well!)

Pros

- Flexible/Hybrid working - Lovely office and high level equipment (Macbook Pro's and Huge monitors) - Very friendly and welcoming team and culture - Management and senior leadership very approachable - Free breakfast on a Monday is actual decent breakfast ordered in - barista machines (some with oat milk) and fridges full of nice soft drinks for free - Dogs in the office

Cons

- Being a large company with different arms/brands, it's difficult to know what everybody does - No real cons that really standout that wouldn't be in every workplace

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing and don't lose the personal and hands on touch you have in the business.

Pros

The people are a massive pro. Everyone I've met at CTI has been awesome, incredibly supportive and receptive to feedback. It feels like my department genuinely wants to make sure I'm enjoying my work and want to do everything they can to help me thrive as a developer. The work, while often challenging, is varied and interesting and being able to contribute to some big projects for some impressive clients has been an awesome experience so far! I'm looking forward to seeing what else comes my way in the future!

Cons

There have been times where I've had to split myself across multiple projects in a given day, which can be quite difficult to manage, but the department is aware that this is the case and that it's not exclusive to myself, and are working on taking steps to make sure this improves! Being a remote worker and so far from the office can also sometimes feel a little isolating, but hopefully that shouldn't be a problem for too much longer!

Pros

- Interesting and diverse projects for multiple industries including charities and non-profits - Opportunities to work with latest technologies - Well thought-out and consistent processes - A large, friendly and talented team always willing to help when needed - Large office with great facilities and quality equipment

Cons

- Tech leads can be put under quite a lot of pressure with high workloads at times and a lot of responsibilities although I know this is being addressed - Onboarding of developers (especially junior/less experienced) could be improved IMO, with better explanation of processes and technologies that they may be unfamiliar with

Pros

Manchester office is really modern and love the hybrid/remote working model, I have a great work life balance as a result. Everyone is so approachable, I work well with my team and feel like I have a clear career path in place here.

Cons

I think the benefits offered could be further improved (e.g. better maternity/paternity pay or private healthcare) but otherwise nothing else

Advice to Management

Keep listening to employee feedback and ensuring all line managers are committed to supporting development of their staff

Cons

No real cons, sometimes the world's coolest coffee machines take a temporary break though

Great collaborative and inclusive team - very flat structure within the agency, ensures everyone can contribute and collaborate. Enviable client list where I feel I can make a real impact.

Cons

Since Covid people are not coming into the office 5 days a week which I miss but when we are all in there's such a buzz.

Advice to Management

Keep up with the agencies' meetings - these are invaluable.
