How is management perceived at City and County of San Francisco?

Pros

San Francisco is a beautiful city (despite the challenges w/the homeless) and the City offers competitive compensation packages!

Cons

Working for CSA Audits in the Controller's Office was a complete nightmare. Crazy turnover, be prepared to be micromanaged, not much time given to acclimate to the new work environment, low employee morale, poor management.

Advice to Management

Management does not appear to really care about employee concerns & happiness. Management here has adopted the "So what" attitude - "Who cares if an employees leaves & finds a new job, we'll just hire someone else." Very poor, and unhealthy work environment, The absolute worst job I've ever had.
