What is paid time off like at Coach?

Pros

Great pay, benefits and paid time off.

Cons

Pros at what cost? Well you are having to do 5-10 jobs in one, you go from taking care of preparing a bag that was requested from the sales floor, making sure it is properly bagged or if requested you have to gift wrap (even worse during Christmas), the hours were great until they are cut since you are an associate that means you don't get to enjoy your full time hours so be prepared to work 12-20 hours during this time, always on your feet, monogramming at all times if the craftsman isn't working, don't even get me started on unpacking everything and trying to restock the sales floor, after all that make sure you throw ALL the trash away, while also back stocking all the items you just received. Remember the hours that were cut, well the expectation is for you to get everything done during this short amount of time, take care of online orders, order supplies for the store, clean bathrooms and vacuum every night you close, if you don't keep up with your stock room and keeping it organized your back stock will look horrible specially if sales associates do not respect to put items back where they belong, you are also REQUIRED to work floor set which could be a late night ordeal, also inventory is awful and if you don't have the best stock team could be a disaster and you will be there all night and morning long. Also you are taking care of all paperwork and having to purge them. Every once in a while when its super busy or the sales team has to sell you will be at register, if there is no one in the front of the store you will have to be in the front greeting which takes you away from ALL the work you have to take care of. Overall you are doing everything with barely benefits other than good pay (that is only if you are one of the lucky ones).

Advice to Management

It is important to lend a hand and try to work with the core of the store which is the Stock Team, when the success of the store relies on a few people that care for the back stock and other necessities it is important that during down time to make sure that if possible the things in the stock are cared for by EVERYONE (not just stock associates). Also keeping a professional environment that works together for a common goal the SUCCESS of the brand and store.

Great pay, benefits and paid time off.

Does Coach offer family leave?

Pros

My team was hardworking and dedicated (deserved more pay), above average benefits, great employee discounts from all Tapestry brands

Cons

Your career and professional growth really depends on who’s on the management team - I was with the company for over 5 years, I was able to accelerate quickly because I was under a good management team who really cared for the employees and their life goals. Side note: Coach does a lot of re-orgs out of no where. As a front line worker, we always got notified last with very little information behind. My last few years with the company was rough. I had a baby and realized I had no work life balance, this would not work out. My management team was not transparent or supportive at all, it was a toxic and draining environment since there has been more re-orgs done while I was on maternity leave. My direct manager would use very pitiful and insulting words toward me and the girls, and was very passive aggressive towards all of us. My girls and I were all better than that and no one deserved to be spoken to that way. HR did nothing so I left.

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, be transparent.

orgs done while I was on maternity leave.
