Living in a tropical paradise. The patients are kind and grateful. Ample time off. Tax haven. Coworkers are easy to get along with. Non-litigious society.


Pay is non-competitive. Pay is the same for all departments/specialties. Management has no clear goals with a passive resistance to any change. Still utilizing paper charts despite having EHR. New EHR is very cumbersome. No incentive to stay long term. Last pay increase was 4 years ago.
