What is the retirement plan like at Coursera?

Pros

There are some really (book) smart people that work at Coursera. Free courses to all employees

Cons

No 401k matching. Salary increases are rare Smart people but not strategic Some people in management have no business being in management or leading an organization. It has a click at the top that are untouchable and they are the ones making poor decisions. NO work/life balance. They expect a lot of their employees but don’t reward them accordingly. People are not very positive. They change directions, plans and messaging every quarter. No long term plans. Process heavy organization that can’t get anything done. Marketing leaders are arrogant and clueless. The enterprise division of the business is a mess. Most of this feedback is in relation to the enterprise business not the consumer side. Can’t

Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. The culture of the company has changed. The passion has disappeared. You’re employees don’t feel valued and you have made them feel like just a number.

No 401k matching.
