What are perks and other benefits like at CoverMyMeds?

Pros

It's incredible how much our leadership team values employees and is truly committed to making CoverMyMeds a best place to work. In meetings and emails, we're consistently reminded that being a best place to work means something different to each person, and that it's up to us to help define what being a best place to work entails so that the leadership team can help us build that path. This is the only place I've worked that treats everyone fairly, values input from all levels of the company, helps employees grow their careers and invests in the tools needed for employees to succeed. It also helps that we have INCREDIBLE perks, such as: • Free lunch EVERY DAY, made fresh by our amazing culinary team • Continuing education and tools to help employees advance their careers • Fun events, such as CoverMyQuest (the company donates mini-grants so employees can pursue a dream or passion) and CoverMyOlympics (where employees across the company compete in hilarious events, including a staring contest, rock paper scissors and dodgeball) • Flexible schedules to accommodate work/life balance • Free downtown parking and shuttle service to/from the office • On-site fitness facilities and the opportunity to work with a personal trainer • Paid maternity/paternity leave • Lots of volunteer opportunities in our local communities • The list goes on and on The best part: I never dread going to work. I love our mission and the work we do to help patients get medications. I also love the incredibly smart people who work here as well as the leadership team who helps guide us. We're very lucky!

Cons

The only con I can think of is how spoiled we've become. By receiving so many work-perks and enjoying the benefits of working here (including transparency from leadership and being encouraged to share feedback in order to continuously improve the culture), some people seem to be ungrateful for what we have and are constantly searching for more.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Everyone I know loves working here, and it's because of the culture we've built at such an amazing company. We just have to stay focused on our mission and work together to continue helping patients.

What is health insurance like at CoverMyMeds?

Pros

I am fairly new to CoverMyMeds, but it has so far been a great experience. They have a very good on-boarding process that is very professional and a lot better than what I have seen at other companies, although they definitely throw a lot of information at you. All of the people that I have met have been excellent, and everyone is very willing to answer your questions and help you out. This is a huge differentiator from other places that I have worked, and it makes it so much more enjoyable to come to work everyday. Looking at the company from the outside for at least a couple of years, it is evident that employees can be promoted up from within the company. So I hope that this trend continues as it is one of the big benefits that attracted me to CMM. The perks are obviously amazing: 100% premiums paid for health insurance for entire family Lunch is provided everyday Free parking

Cons

I have not seen any big cons in my short time here, and it is a struggle to find any negatives. One thing that I have noticed is that at times it can be difficult to schedule a conference room, particularly when more than a few people are needed at the meeting. Also, the parking is at a garage that is about a 10-15 minute walk from the building, but they do have a shuttle that runs between the garage and the building. Neither of these issues are very big in my mind, and they are largely outweighed by the vast amount of positives of working at CMM.

Advice to Management

Keep the culture of rewarding your employees and promoting from within.

Does CoverMyMeds pay for a gym membership?

Pros

-Inclusive and supportive culture helps you succeed in your role. -You're encouraged to be yourself and to think outside-the-box on how to improve the company. -We have a beautiful new office being built which I cannot wait for, including catered lunches everyday, gym membership, etc. -EVERYONE is so nice and helpful , probably because they love their jobs !

Cons

-There is a lot to learn and you must be able to problem solve, especially with Work From Home procedures.

Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, I am so excited to be here on this journey! I love the culture CMM has for encouraging employees to be speak up to make a difference. Especially in a company this size, the ability to feel like you have a direct impact is special.

Pros

Insurance benefits and HSA are good.

Cons

Hours suck. I prefer an 8-4 or 9-5.

Does CoverMyMeds offer unlimited time off?

Pros

CoverMyMeds is truly a company that cares about their employees and it shows in every choice they make. They dedicate so much to their employees to make sure each person has the ability to be their best self. Free lunches, flexible schedules, and semi-unlimited PTO are all huge bonuses but the real thing that makes CoverMyMeds so unique is the people they hire and how wonderful everybody is. Everyone is friendly and caring and always striving to do their best which makes an incredible, inclusive work environment. For the Account Coordinator role they really provide thorough training that makes you feel connected to the role and also ensures everyone is aligned and confident for when they start on their own. What I love about the Account Coordinator role is it's designed to have people spend the first few months mastering the role and then they begin to assign more responsibilities and opportunities outside of your role to help you learn more about other areas as well as begin to develop your professional development.

Cons

With CoverMyMeds still being a growing company, there are growing pains and semi-frequent changes in levels of leadership but it's all understandable.

unlimited PTO are all huge bonuses but the real thing that makes CoverMyMeds so unique is the people they hire and how wonderful everybody is.
