Pros

It's incredible how much our leadership team values employees and is truly committed to making CoverMyMeds a best place to work. In meetings and emails, we're consistently reminded that being a best place to work means something different to each person, and that it's up to us to help define what being a best place to work entails so that the leadership team can help us build that path. This is the only place I've worked that treats everyone fairly, values input from all levels of the company, helps employees grow their careers and invests in the tools needed for employees to succeed. It also helps that we have INCREDIBLE perks, such as: • Free lunch EVERY DAY, made fresh by our amazing culinary team • Continuing education and tools to help employees advance their careers • Fun events, such as CoverMyQuest (the company donates mini-grants so employees can pursue a dream or passion) and CoverMyOlympics (where employees across the company compete in hilarious events, including a staring contest, rock paper scissors and dodgeball) • Flexible schedules to accommodate work/life balance • Free downtown parking and shuttle service to/from the office • On-site fitness facilities and the opportunity to work with a personal trainer • Paid maternity/paternity leave • Lots of volunteer opportunities in our local communities • The list goes on and on The best part: I never dread going to work. I love our mission and the work we do to help patients get medications. I also love the incredibly smart people who work here as well as the leadership team who helps guide us. We're very lucky!

Cons

The only con I can think of is how spoiled we've become. By receiving so many work-perks and enjoying the benefits of working here (including transparency from leadership and being encouraged to share feedback in order to continuously improve the culture), some people seem to be ungrateful for what we have and are constantly searching for more.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Everyone I know loves working here, and it's because of the culture we've built at such an amazing company. We just have to stay focused on our mission and work together to continue helping patients.

Pros

- Leadership truly cares about the employees and works hard to maintain a transparent workplace. - Tons of career advancement opportunities and the company is very supportive of providing employees with extra professional development resources. - All of the snacks, lunches, and drinks are great. I never realized how much of life enhancement it would be to not have to worry about what I'm eating for lunch any given day. - The people here are really great genuine people that work hard for this great company. It really feels like you're apart of a family. - The perks are great, they really enhance the work life when longer hours are needed. Not having to worry about where to get food or something to drink or something as simple as parking, is great.

Cons

- Not so much of a con but CoverMyMeds hires really really good people. For that reason, promotions are competitive so you need to really work hard to set yourself apart. Just working here a long time doesn't guarantee anyone a promotion, you need to earn it.

Advice to Management

Management does an incredible job being transparent, keep that up. In my opinion, that goes so much further than any of the perks we have here. The perks are incredible but feeling that your included and cared about by your supervisors and upper management is huge.

The perks are great, they really enhance the work life when longer hours are needed.

Pros

People are mostly nice, decent benefits

Cons

All of the benefits and perks could potentially lead to a culture of entitlement (you already see hints of it popping up in other reviews here).

Advice to Management

Really design your new campus to be beyond ADA compliant, my disability left me unable to work at your current location(s) because of a lack of handicap parking, not enough restrooms, and other problems. I don’t say this to ‘bad mouth’ CMM or upper management, because I do believe they will be a place open to everyone in the future with their new campus, but they are not currently an employer I would recommend most disabled people to try to work for. Please remember your mission statement and remember that just as you try to complete work tasks as quickly as possible so there will be no delay in getting a patient medicine that when a disabled person asks for help you can’t delay because that disabled person might need help now...not after a few additional weeks of suffering. I can’t speak badly about anyone in management or in the organization. I don’t blame anyone there for my disability and me nor being able to ‘cut it.’ However, there is a lot CMM could do to be a better employer, neighbor, civic leader in this area and I hope they do.

All of the benefits and perks could potentially lead to a culture of entitlement (you already see hints of it popping up in other reviews here).
