What is health insurance like at Creative Circle?

Pros

-Recruiters work quickly– be prepared to rework your resume often (and within a matter of hours) in order to get in front of the right clients -Opportunities are with top tech companies. Great way to get your foot in the door -Recruiters advocate for you in front of clients -Lots of opportunities for remote work (depending on industry)

Cons

-Health insurance is offered through a company called Benefits in Card. Since this isn't a major health insurance company, coverage is limited (though you can pay more for a higher tier) and isn't accepted by other insurance businesses (OneMedical, Oscar, etc). I wish they would find a solution that provides more coverage.

Advice to Management

If you find a better health insurance solution, I'm sure contractors would love to stay on longer!

Does Creative Circle offer health savings accounts?

Pros

you get paid weekly and that is about it.

Cons

This is a company that only cares about its paying clients. Not you. If you are a contractor for them, they don’t care about you. They may tell you a contract is for xx amount of , but I would not expect to have that happen. Don’t trust what they say. I think this is how they get you to whittle down your price per hour to the lowest amount you could possibly accept. They operate with very little knowledge of California employment law, so when they cut your contract, expect them to not pay you right away. They think that is their right.. If you accrue any sick time they will not pay you it when you leave like most companies. Their health insurance is a joke, you are better off without any. In addition, this company also expects you to chase down your managers to ensure that your timecard is approved and processed in time, otherwise, you will not be paid until the following week. . They don’t even handle that for you. You get 3 holidays per year. That is the lowest number of holidays I have ever seen a company offer. I know things are tough right now, but protect yourself and don’t engage with this company. False promises, misleading information and lack of California employment law will bring you to a lower point than you started at.

Advice to Management

They know how poorly they treat contractors. there isn't any point to giving advice

Their health insurance is a joke, you are better off without any.
