Does Credit Acceptance offer relocation assistance?

Pros

Good pay, profit sharing, nice benefits package

Cons

The type of culture here is not for everyone. It is highly numbers driven and people are often looked at as numbers as well. There are goals they want to hit and oftentimes dont care about the people that they knock down to get there. It is a shame.

Advice to Management

Emotional intelligence training is something that would benefit the management, as well as training in general. Not always are top performers great leaders. They would benefit from a more diverse leadership too.

Does Credit Acceptance offer family leave?

Pros

Working from home, flexible shifts, my supervisor, my team

Cons

Working every weekend, even though it's VERY slow. Kinda a work life balance as long as you don't like spending time with your family on weekends.Your bonus depends on if people who are in a financial bind can pay their past due balance, which with inflation and low pay, a lot of people are unable to consistently. Low pay outside of bonuses. Takes several months to see a decent bonus. Getting cursed out for calling people early in the mornings, especially on the weekends. Can't switch to another department until 6 months. Had to take a leave due to a family emergency and HR was more concerned with me giving them sensitive medical information for my family member to prove why being with them took priority over work. Then when I needed to extend my leave, they wanted me to explain why...after I had already told them that my family member is in a touch and go situation in the hospital. Because I didn't submit someone else medical records and didnt want to keep having a conversation about why I was on leave, I was terminated. So I could be losing a very important family member, and also lost my job. Btw, all this pressure for a UNPAID leave. Wasn't expecting to have to speak with someone every few days about my leave when my family and I are dealing with more important pressing issues 24/7. Very insensitive and not a company I want to be apart of.

Advice to Management

No advice for management but CA should be a lot more sensitive to their employees personal lives. I don't live to work for y'all, I live for my family and worked for y'all to provide for them. Instead, I was expy to be more concerned with sending SOMEONE ELSES medical information to validate why I needed to take a unpaid leave. Employees should be able to be there for their families during difficult times without being worried about losing their job.
