What is working from home like at DPD?

      DPD reviews

      Dynamic leaders, combative culture

      Student worker
      Former intern
      Budapest
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Many opportunities to grow and to innovate. Relatively tall hierarchy but with less power distance than is expected in Hungary (huge positive for ambitious young people). Leaders seem to trust their people. Good work-life balance, generous home office policy.

      Cons

Compensation is nothing special, student workers are paid below market rates. Scattered IT systems make work harder than it otherwise would be. Cross-department communication is difficult and often met with resistance. Some resentment among employees and classic power plays.

      Hard work, decent money.

      Shift manager
      Former employee
      Warrington, North West England, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Hard work decent money. Lots of really good people in the business Solid IT

      Cons

Home work balance is not quite right Some senior management are vindictive and will look to get rid of decenting voices.

      Good company

      Sales
      Former employee
      Stoke-on-Trent, England
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Get to manage your own day Remote work two days a week

      Cons

Low commission Poor service from drivers and depot ruins your accounts
