Pros
The job is remote- that’s all the pros
Cons
Toxic workplace Constant criticism labeled as “feedback” Upper management does not listen to the voices of employees CEO and HR talk about current & former employees in a negative way No consideration for the unlimited PTO or end of workday CEO fires people out of the blue, and brags about it They give you six months to last here, and a lot of people leave way before then
Advice to Management
The only way to fix it is to entirely reconstruct the company’s management. The CEO controls the culture of the company and would be better off with someone else, someone with more humility and respect for others, running it

Pros
I have been working with the DealRoom / M&A Science team for over a year now and it has been an amazing experience. They have a very transparent and collaborative environment which makes it fun to work with. Every member of the team provides constructive feedback, steps up, and knows how to commit to achieving campaign goals. The founder displays great leadership skills and has the ability to empower people. He knows how to nurture the strengths of his team members in order to set them up for success.
Cons
Nothing so far. Hopefully, I can meet them all in person after Covid!
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work. It’s a really good place to grow and I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Personally, I really enjoy working with this company. However, I could see for those that prefer roles that stay loyal to the tasks to the job description, this culture would not be a good fit.

When going into this company it seemed as if there were many pros as discussed in the interview. The items discussed and promoted about the company were false.

- the company has a high turnover rate - Not flexible for hours or benefits - Negative CEO. He talks negatively about all employees behind their backs - It is a small company. Not room to grow in - it is a very toxic and hostile work environment - the CEO does not know how to lead a team. He believes in tearing people down to mold them into what he wants.
