Does DealerSocket offer malpractice insurance?

Pros

Overall, the CRM is top notch. The offices are nice. Most coworkers are good people and you can learn from each other. Decent insurance.

Cons

First off, the company asks all new hires to post positive Glassdoor reviews during new hire orientation, don't be fooled by them. Overpriced. Term lengths not inline with competitors. Setups fees are just random numbers with no data backing them. The DealerSocket business model does not align with the Auto/Mate model, thus we are unable to leverage the Auto/Mate relationships we hoped for. The entire C-Suite is clueless about the automotive industry. There is no go-to-market strategy whatsoever. DealerSocket goes against the way dealers have done business with vendors for years. We have ZERO chance of winning deals because the CRO thinks we need to "Trade Paint" with our dealer base and push back. All of our competitors are finding creative ways to do business while we sit idle and lose deals. There is absolutely no culture here any more. Most of the well respected and successful sales members were smart and have jumped ship in the last few months. There is an abundance of highly overpaid middle management that do literally nothing except monitor activity in Salesforce and threaten to fire you if you cant close business (from home, we were hired as travelling sales people) Rumors are there will be no travel until 2021. All of our competitors are out visiting dealers and closing business. All of our competitors are providing guaranteed commissions and lowered quotas during Covid. We laid off 10% and have done nothing to help current sales staff earn a living. Income is far below industry average. On Target Earnings look great on paper, but are virtually unattainable. 401K match is a joke. There seems to be a sales restructuring every 6-8 months. They make a plan and go all in without a lot of thought, then ditch that plan for the new shiny plan.

Advice to Management

Learn the automotive segment and stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Hire people who actually know our industry. Stop throwing VP titles to people based on who they who. You are ruining the culture we once had and ruining the DealerSocket name.

Decent insurance.
