Pros
Hard to think of any, but I suppose they managed to always pay me on time.
Cons
Practically no training offered. Expected to already know everything, not supported well in my first couple of weeks whilst I learnt the ropes. The manager was too self important, didn't offer support or supervision, rarely left his office and when he did, it was only because he wanted to chat to someone from another department. Some of the younger staff were very nice. But there was a real cliquey culture as soon as anyone gained a promotion. I was never given my own till log in and and I was there for 4 months. Felt like a burden constantly having to ask others to log me into the till but neither the manager nor deputy manger would help me get a new till log in (and they had to apply on my behalf). It's no wonder the company is struggling, the in-store management are incompetent.
