Pros

Other staff Nothing else really

Cons

Cliques formed with managers and staff resulting in unfair treatment. Holidays refused despite plenty of notice and other members of staff not being off. Ridiculous rules re sickness and time off Hours changing constantly, had hours change four times in one day Management not taken into account other life commitments etc college, life in general Too much expected from too little staff Not enough staff No support from union despite being a closed shop Staff lifts not working, resulting in stock issues Tills, Kiosk never work properly Too much focus on KPI targets Junior staff with keys, not trustworthy Too many management changes Facilities unclean Insufficient pest control Staff moral low Store manager needed a lesson in how to speak to people, rude, ignorant and no respect for staff Too many managers in office who won’t come to help staff when needed. Pawned off to deal with issues below their level. Health and Safety in a shambles, fell off a ladder, no report done, another time hit my head on bars not stored correctly and was told I couldn’t got home because we were that short staffed Caused issues after employment had seized, treated with legal action over a mistake they had made re payment

Advice to Management

Be on the floor, don’t sit in the office all day and moan when staff can’t meet targets because it’s been busy and you haven’t been bothered to help resolve the issues
