Friendly staff. Great progression opportunities. Opportunity to join any department. Travel opportunities to HQ to study company products from knowledgeable trainers.
On-the-job training can be lacking, but there are wise people to help and guide you. Training comes from local knowledge, rather than company HQ. Whole country operation tends to be a silo. True global, cooperative strategy is only being realised now.
Advice to Management
There is a overpowering focus on time logging and KPI's, where you are expected to get involved in projects even if you don't know where to find. It can feel like you are constantly having to show, log your work to people just sitting above you "managing". They aren't managing in the sense of helping direct people into projects and help them realise goals. More hands-off. If there is a lack of work, you tend to be fully blamed for not being busy. Outdated ticketing system.
True global, cooperative strategy is only being realised now.
