What is paid time off like at Dun & Bradstreet?

Pros

In some teams, great culture, great teamwork; terrific benefits including very generous PTO, casual dress code, volunteer time, and more. Lot's of diversity at the employee level and fun environment.

Cons

D&B does reorganizations constantly, so you never really know if you'll have a job tomorrow. The new CEO/Senior leadership is very much old-school, middle-aged white men, with one token woman. They are often disconnected to the team and are clearly out for profit over caring for the team.

Advice to Management

Stop the constant reorgs and manage the people you have per their performance.

Does Dun & Bradstreet offer dental insurance?

Pros

Worked for a very understanding boss whose priorities were clear, to manage well, ask for input and suggestions and very, very patient about training and getting new staff up to speed. His requests were perfectly reasonable and merely involved work requirements, sometimes more moderate than those demanded from upper management. Realistic requests and down to earth management. HR support was very comprehensive, at no point was I wondering about any aspect of the company. The resources available were more extensive than any other company I've worked for in terms of leave applications, medical coverage and adminstration. What was exceptionally amazing was the constant positive reinforcing events that seemed to last over a 3 month period due to a cascade of festivals. Left with many new friends.

Cons

Priorities are there. Though I loved the company we really needed to focus on justifying our existence so less fun activities and more emphasis on work priorities rather than high pressure negative disciplinary measures. Was totally understandable but best avoided.

Advice to Management

Too much fun at this office. Guys things were great and I'm sure you got everything under control. Focus on the positive.

Does Dun & Bradstreet offer family leave?

Pros

Paternity and maternity leave benefits. I can not think of any other PROs.

Cons

No work-life balance. No check and balances for the management team as a lot of global management shuffling give them freehand. Very toxic environment.

Advice to Management

Diversify product offering Pump new talent across all locations. Discourage pushback culture and audit it.

Paternity and maternity leave benefits.
