Pros

Good benefit package I never missed a check A great mission to change the industry

Cons

A place that has unlimited tolerance for bullies (demeaning, belittling behaviors, unwarranted escalation, shifting blame, nasty comments, ignoring employee feedback). A place does not recognize employees' efforts and achievements. Almost non-existing healthy mentorship. Unrealistic expectations and timelines. Strong push-backs on promotions. Extremely disorganized in terms of project and people management. Poor diversity.

Advice to Management

If the SLT and HR continuously ignores addressing the bully issue, the company is going to keep losing good people.

Pros

I genuinely enjoy working with every single person on my team at EQRx, and I think that is largely due to an actual commitment to diverse hiring which I appreciate a lot. Working with a group that represents diversity in gender, race, professional background, and personality has created a productive, transparent, and most importantly FUN team dynamic!

Cons

Not a major con by any means, but things move quickly so you have to be prepared for that. Even so, I think people are generally on the same page about priorities despite the fast pace.

Pros

Literally NONE.. healthcare is 100% covered but you are losing too much for that

Cons

I don't even know from where to start ......... -Unorganized leadership -Lot of people at wrong level who have no idea what they re doing -Wasting so much time on projects which are not going anywhere - Bullying, favoritism, groupism and what not - Literally have nothing in pipeline. two filed product which will not make any revenue if approved. -No shame in lying and making things up in company meeting for ex. Chief people officer told everyone that there will be promotions with raises (which is a joke). Guess what that was a BIG FAT LIE. there are no promotions, why cant you tell employees that no promotion because we jut went through lay offs, why LIE?

Pros

There are handful of people that are pleasant, personable and work ethic is top-knotch.

Cons

This company really does have good intention in general but it is flawed and have a lot of steps and years to go before they can effectively shift the industry. Why, you may ask? Due to some of the people in higher management positions and people who are executing the clinical trials. Transparency with the employees is not part of the motto. Somehow up the ladder, the communication is broken and suggestions for improvement as it relates to employee morale and communication are superficiously addressed during townhall meetings but that is as far as it goes. Bullying actually does happen in this company. It was addressed during a townhall and a coach given to the perpetrator but to no avail. It still occurs. Bullying outside of team meetings also happens in external conferences. Unbelievable. When I refer to bullying, it is the undermining of the decisions and and unprofessional responses in a group meeting. Demeaning and belittling remarks and unwarranted escalations continue to occur. This happens mid-level management and even at the top senior levels. Personnel who manages and executes the trials are full of negativity. Case in point, being part of interview process, the interviewers do not speak highly of the company and a potential candidate would obviously be deterred from joining. These are the types of personnel who are in this company but perhaps more specific to a department. The culture is not here yet and I don't think it will be achieved anytime soon if these type of people remain in the positions that they hold. You can't "Be You at EQ" if you are being told to change the way you act and interact with certain people. Again, a very superficial company at best. There are definitely great people here but they are not seen or heard. Only way to be noticed and heard is if you become the same- complain, complain, negative, negative. Some personnel pretend to be so busy but actually not and purposely drag the process.

Advice to Management

Remove the people who are these positions that impede progress and promote dysfunctional environment.
