At Elsevier, we recognize the importance of representation and equity. UK Black History Month reminds us of the rich tapestry of cultures and talents within Elsevier. We celebrate the achievements of our Black employees, past and present, who helped to shape our shared history.
When we celebrate Black History, we should not only recall where we have been as a people and what we have been able to accomplish in the face of adversity but also take the time to tell our stories and hand off the wisdom of our elders to the next generation.
This month, we acknowledge that history is made every moment. Black voices, innovators, and leaders have shaped our past and are actively shaping our future, so let's continue to lift them up and applaud them.
