What is health insurance like at Empire Education Group?

Pros

- My manager invests the time to train me and help me grow in my career - The health benefits are honestly unbelievable, which I never would have expected coming into this. But I guess that just made it that much more special. - Any group meetings are productive and informative. Management doesn’t waste our time with bs meetings that are only being conducted because someone higher up says it’s necessary. - I’ve met Franklin before and he’s an actually decent guy. A lot more friendly than I expected and he really knew his stuff. I was impressed and walked away with a lot of respect for him.

Cons

- Sales is a tough gig anywhere. I wouldn’t recommend it to people without previous experience.

Does Empire Education Group offer tuition reimbursement?

Pros

Some coworkers were friendly, not much else as far as pros go

Cons

Hiring process was very long and it was a red flag from day one with how much they put on a nice front with how everyone is like family there. Definitely was not the case once training was over. Just kept getting new responsibilities piled on when they have nothing to do with your actual job title. Work atmosphere was so uncomfortable, managers are nice to their favorites and if you’re not in that group expect to be treated like you don’t belong. Lots of employees like to gossip and bully people rather than work. They start you at $15 but you will stay at $15 forever because they do not offer any type of raises or incentives. Benefits are terrible and costly. Constantly being asked for overtime. People you speak to over the phones are malicious, screaming, cursing. If you can’t handle being talked down to by your higher ups, coworkers, students, and potential students then expect everyday to be ruined by the first hour in. Frustrating to see how some employees get away with doing basically nothing the whole time while you’re the one being run into the ground. Unless you are hired as someone higher up in the company expect to be burned out by the first week. Wish I wouldn’t of wasted my time giving this place a chance. The company is desperate enough to have people posting fake positive reviews to draw people in, you think with how much they charge for tuition they could afford to pay people more than $15 an hour after ten years.

Advice to Management

Charge too much for tuition for students and pay way too little for employees. Not really advice, just a comment, your company is greedy.
