What is health insurance like at Excellus BlueCross BlueShield?

Pros

-You get top notch free health insurance and so does your family (spouse and kids). -Crazy amount of PTOs, vacation time and sick time off so the work life balance is great. -Fun camaraderie activities that help you get to know other people from the company well. -You can get merit based bonuses, they love to promote within. Lots of opportunity for growth.

Cons

-Cannot think of any cons other than that the pay isn’t the BEST but the company makes up for it by giving you and your family free insurance.

You get top notch free health insurance and so does your family (spouse and kids).

Does Excellus BlueCross BlueShield offer tuition reimbursement?

Pros

If you're a college student looking for real-life experience with supervisors that actually want and care about your perspective, this is the one for you! I learned so much and did so many projects I truly believe my supervisor found valuable. Also, there are so many professional workshops that are planned to help you learn and grow, and get close with your fellow interns. I still reference some of the things I learned in them at my full-time job, two years later.

Cons

I was in the Rochester office, and I heard that some of the interns in the other offices felt disconnected from the interns in the Rochester office.
