Does FHI 360 offer relocation assistance?

Pros

~ Compassionate workforce with strong programmatic and technical backgrounds ~ Affinity resource groups provide for more informal cohesion across teams and business units ~ Competitive benefits package

Cons

~ Upward growth is all but impossible if you are young and have less experience but perform well; centralized HR policies favor years of experience above all (i.e., much more important than relevant skills or past performance reviews), which outright obstruct career development for younger staff; executive leadership doesn't seem to care and are almost willing to lose their young talent with the knowledge another young professional is eager to quickly fill the position when another leaves ~ Compensation is low, especially when externally compared to industry standards and other key competitors ~ Internal bureaucracy is stifling for projects with more unique funding structures and specialized relationships with clients; centralized standardization at the expense of efficiency

Advice to Management

~ Stop actively hindering the success of your emerging employees; boomeranging is more costly than simply retaining your talented employees

~ Competitive benefits package

Takes diversity, equity, and inclusion seriously, including at leadership level. Benefits are great. Cost & Pricing is known within the organization for being exceptionally organized, responsive, and a very supportive of their own staff. Great team.

Cons

Like every other NGO in this space, gets hung up on "internal equity" for existing staff - limiting promotion pay increases - while giving market-competitive offers to external hires.
