Pros

I sold some policies and the commission was paid from the carriers as promised. The polices have been in effect over a year and I received the remainder of the commission and renewals. There is money to be made helping families get the coverage they need.

Cons

The recruitment process was unprofessional and that should have been a sign for me to look elsewhere. After my recruiter signed me on and I got licensed, I was told to "just go watch videos." There was no rhyme or reason to the process then they went radio silent. I had to email the corporate office to get direction on where to go. I was told I could start making money in week after getting licensed. It was 3 months. And getting contracted for some carriers was a nightmare. I spent more time following up with that than making appointments. I had to babysit one policy for three months to make sure I got contracted and the client covered. I met some good and sincere people, but I questioned some of the ethics and decided that I couldn't do business the way it was being modeled or encouraged. I am currently in search of a different FMO or IMO to connect with. Truthfully, I wish I would have gotten Property and Casualty.

Advice to Management

Standardize your training. Return emails and phone calls.

Pros

$ is ridiculous. Awesome training, leaders have heart and lead from the front vs manage from the back, team environment. I had no experience but the process was so good it compensated for that. When my goal to make $5k my first month was shattered 3X i knew i had a tiger by the tail! Excited for the possibilities!

Cons

If you're afraid of working or have a poor work ethic, not for you. Simply put if you work there's no way you can fail.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! THANK YOU!

Pros

Not much unless you enjoy working all hours with little to no benefit. Might work out if you are a hardcore sales person and are ready to put with anything.

Cons

1. Although they say there is no cold-calling associated, there is a lot of calling unsuspecting people involved 2. You're supposed to sell life insurance products in the pretext of giving people something for free, which I guess is the nature of the business but this should be disclosed during the interview process and they don't. You're told that all the leads will come from them and you work with unions only. In reality, you work with non-union people who sign up for a free will kit or child safety kit but are offered with an insurance. 3. Get rudely slammed by a lot of the customers because all they want is the 'free' package to be mailed to them, which maybe is something a lot of people can deal with but needs to be disclosed during the onboarding process 4. Though they tell you you won't need to get leads, you actually have to ask for referrals from your customers 5. Some weeks you won't even get sales and that means no money 6. You end up spending about 500 CAD for the license and then you're meant pay for zoom pro and calendly. All this at your own cost. The company pays for nothing and so they have no liability for you 7. Benefits only start after 3 months of the first sale

Advice to Management

Disclose the full truth/reality to the people you are looking to hire. Not everyone is comfortable in the 'bait and switch' selling method that you follow

Pros

I made $7000 last WEEK after expenses so the money is definitely a PRO. I also feel the freedom to be my own boss is a pro but if your lazy it will hurt you. I make my own schedule but I am disciplined enough to get my work done. It’s a life-changing opportunity and could very well change your families destiny.

Cons

It’s a simple process, it is hard work to complete the process. Other than that no cons.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing.

Pros

People you see are great. Nice to help people with financial security. The training is endless.

Cons

No one tells you how bad the chargebacks can be. In order to even out your chargebacks, you have to work 24/7. They sell "part time" is easy and you can make $20,000 a month doing part time. They don't tell you that a lot of that will end up in chargebacks or how much you have spend on leads. They only focus on what and agent WROTE That month. They could of written $50,000 in business but they include all applications. A lot of those won't be approved, a lot will be chargebacks and you are spending A LOT of money on leads to make that money. The company focus's a lot more on HIRING AGENTS because they lose people so fast once they realize the chargeback situation. Hiring agents non stop is the only way the people at the top are making money. Also NO ONE tells you that if you get chargebacks you can't afford, your upline has to pay it. If you hire agents and they can't payback a big chargeback, you are responsible to the company for that money VERY DECEPTIVE

Advice to Management

They are very deceptive.
