What are perks and other benefits like at Fire and Life Safety America?

Pros

They are willing to pay for qualified workers, and they have an amazing fire sprinkler inspector training program. You can walk through the door green, and in two years be a lead inspector (ready or not), as long as you can pass the NICET exams, and the training program.

Cons

The benefits are as disappointing as most commercial companies (especially when they talk about family). The hours can get ridiculous (mostly due to lack of manpower). No real thought is put into how they manage there people. Everything is reactive and never proactive.

Advice to Management

Do not be the obstacle your employee has to overcome at anytime!

Health Insurance policy and pricing are becoming a lot. As PTO hours have recently been updated, there is still no graduation on PTO after 10 years.
