Pros
Working for this company has been an incredible experience. I have never worked for a company where the Head Executive Director truly cares about every person within the company. The HR teach always checks in, especially during hard times to see how they can support. When I was on my maternity leave, they were always calling to check on me and baby. My direct supervisor is always available. She listens to my concerns, ideas and feedback. When constructive feedback is given, it's never belittling. Each person I come into contact with in the organization is friendly and open. First Step House takes a lot of pride on making we are inclusive, compassion and understanding of every individuals needs. Not only the staff, but the clients we serve. When I need personal time off, I'm never made to feel bad about it and it's never questioned. If you want to work at a place that you will enjoy coming every day, First Step House is it!
Cons
Truly I don't have anything negative to say about First Step House.
