What are perks and other benefits like at Freshly?

Pros

The company has been attracting top talent and it's easy to see why. All the people here are passionate about the mission and the brand, which makes it truly a pleasure to come to work every morning. The impact employees are able to make (across all levels and departments) is generally rapid and robust, which is super rewarding. It's really cool to see such growth and evolution. The company offers solid compensation and benefits packages and lots of great perks (discounts, fully stocked kitchen, dog-friendly office, beer & cold brew on tap, etc). I'm also a big fan of all the company-wide events & team building opportunities.

Cons

With rapid growth comes some challenges from a process standpoint. But, everyone is always working towards optimizing and working smarter.

this company needs better leadership. at the rate it's going right now, this company is going to fail or be outpaced by competitors.

Does Freshly offer unlimited time off?

Pros

Unlimited PTO, pay is decent.

Office politics are in full swing here. The only people that get treated fairly are corporate employees. No one takes accountability, always looking to use someone as the scapegoat. You really do not want to work here. RUN and don't look back.

Advice to Management

Stop worrying about appearances so much and try showing that you actually care about your employees.

Does Freshly offer disability insurance?

Pros

Free beer, pretty pathetic snacks, occasional happy hour at a awkward setting

Cons

One bathroom for 50 ppl, terrible pay, terrible management, terrible long term vision, awful office, terrible politics, no upwards mobility, terrible benefits, scary co workers

Advice to Management

Fire every senior level employee. This was by and large the worst and most unprofessional place I have ever worked in my entire career. It is also well known in the NYC startup scene as being one of the worst spots to land as a creative.
