Pros

The company prides itself in the fact that they are a culture-driven company, seeking to grow and exceed their limits every day. This is a growing company, and there are so many exciting opportunities to get that recognition and to enjoy the fun perks here and there. Gap Intelligence is a data company that aims for Great Freaking Data. The company has an open-door policy and the collaborative team structures make the company very unique in how they approach problems, allowing everyone an opportunity to contribute.

Cons

One conflict was on the topic of data visualization. There was discussion to move into more powerful data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau, which would drastically improve the data visualization that management continued to seek for. This seemed attributed to a difference of goals and lack of communication and trust between specific parties.

Advice to Management

Don't leave your employees behind! I understand you're looking for new arcs of growth, but don't just leave at arcs of growth for profit! Look for arcs of growth for new and improved tools as well as for your workforce!

This is a growing company, and there are so many exciting opportunities to get that recognition and to enjoy the fun perks here and there.

Some employee perks, lots of events

Cons

Low speed for personal growth, management lacks of longer vision. Professional development was said to be supported however not really true, only if the management want you on a certain project.
