Does Global Experience Specialists offer a yearly bonus?

Pros

Your experience of working at GES will totally depend on which team you work in and who your manager is. The doesn't appear to be a standardized management style across the company so each team, and sometimes manager withing each team will manage their team very differently. It's definitely important to ask what your managers way of working is before deciding if that placement is for you. Some managers are very old school and hierarchical. They will micro manage you and are very set in their ways. Whilst others have a more collaborative leadership approach which in my opinion creates a much better working environment. Pay is fair and reflects your skills in most cases. Nice refurbished offices (in most cases). Pleasant working environment. Onsite cafe and kitchen facilities. Generally lovely colleagues to work with. Great Christmas do on work time. Fun summer fun day on work time. Uniform provided if needs require.

Cons

A bit behind the times in tech, and when new tech is introduced there's seems alot of push back from the old schoolers. Working experience will depend on your line manager.

Advice to Management

Work on a more collaborative management style across the board. Enable flexible working for all where possible, not just at the managers discretion. More emphasis on managing mental health and working with leaders to drop old school ways and move onto a more inclusive workplace.

Great Christmas do on work time.
