Understand what is going on in your organisation and where the actions of your teams and your HR department don't align with their words around making a great place to work and promoting diversity and inclusion

Pros

After taking a break from work with health issues, they have been very supportive in helping me return. Colleagues are friendly and helpful and the work is interesting. Company is making an effort with diversity and inclusion recently.

Cons

Financial situation is improving, but past few years have been rough. Communication between teams (especially when working from home) is haphazard.

Inclusive culture, lots of opportunities to develop and grow. Great leadership who are willing to listen and enact on the feedback from colleagues and continue making Imagination a great place to work.

- Had next-to-no tutoring support when joining as a "graduate" level in my position. - Salaries are a bit under the average; - Lack of communication between departments;

Advice to Management

Please never again allow the company to lose anyone's promotion in bureaucracy like you did with mine... Keeping track and recognizing people merits a bit better is the best way to avoid your employees to get annoyed.

Pros

Workplace was good and inclusive team despite COVID remote working restrictions. Interesting Technology, lots of smart people working there to learn from

Cons

I spent more time wrestling with package dependencies and VMs than I did working on my actual goals. Standardisation using Docker was just coming in when I left and seemed to address some of these issues.

Advice to Management

If you're doing Agile, make sure to stick to principles which practically affect engineers.
