What is the retirement plan like at JELD-WEN?

Pros

401k match, decent benefits,live able wage if you fight

Cons

Confusing old policies when questioned state "this is how we have always done it", you will get in trouble for things beyond your control, management unpardonable and quick to dismiss your issues but theirs need to be addressed immediately, some co workers wear masks some are very very kind, you can advance only if work becomes your life no family friends or time off.

How are senior leaders perceived at JELD-WEN?

Pros

Unfortunately, there are no pros about the company.

Cons

The environment is not very diverse. Often heard terms when referring to people in the organization as, "the gays" or "the blacks". Leadership is dishonest in their interviewing and hiring. The organization is very siloed, without an enterprise-wide vision. Lots of managers, not a lot of doers. Very disorganized. Most things are prioritized by the rank/position of who's asking, not by business impact, severity or service level agreement. Hierarchical and old-fashioned. Not technically prepared, other than their focus on SAP.

Advice to Management

Reorganize the entire IT Operations Leadership team. You have a real problem in that area.

Leadership is dishonest in their interviewing and hiring.
