Pros
+ Amazing team and CEO. I feel valued as an employee and that my thoughts and expertise matter. + Work/life balance is pretty good + Employees are given lots of opportunities for career growth and learning + Great culture. The company works hard to keep the culture alive even while we're working from home through various virtual events. + You have the opportunity to be part of and shake up the real estate industry + Company offers healthcare and a 401(k)
Cons
+ General startup growing pains with people taking on many hats
Advice to Management
+ Could do a bit more work on hiring more diversity as we continue to grow, specifically BIPOC + Otherwise, management doing great!!! Excited to see what the future holds for this company.

Pros
Remote work, flexible hours, cool product.
Cons
the CEO, the management, the lack of support, the fake "speak your mind" culture I got a call a day before my first day saying my, whom would have been, boss "left the company" and this may "make my onboarding a little more challenging but I should be able to handle it." I had to onboard myself, with no boss, no team, zero support doing two projects I was told I would have the time to learn the programs. Instead, I was told to I was working too slow and when asked how I felt about everything, I was told "that's just the startup culture." Devin is also very sneaky. Being the "supportive CEO" he tries to be, set up a 1-1 w me as a 30-day checkin during which he made it seems it was okay to be open. So expressed my struggles with the lack of support and onboarding. The next day I get a (very rude) phone call saying this is not a good fit and I do not fit the startup speed.
Advice to Management
Don't say you foster "openness" but then shut someone down when they speak up. Make sure to actually onboard your new employees. Make sure everyone has support - starting a completely new role, without support or a manager is not "character building" but hazing.

Pros
Opportunities to grow professionally regardless of seniority. Great leadership team. Amazing company culture. Everyone has a voice. Teamwork mentality. Great people. The platform has insane growth, super agile with trendy technologies.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't found any cons yet. Maybe they could improve the salary a little, but I understand this is a start up that is growing, and the benefits are coming sooner or later.
Advice to Management
Invest more in the team. Force people to be better every day. It could be motivating them to take courses or certifications.

Pros
Jointly has a supportive team that is always willing to help each other out. I appreciate that the inputs of the engineers are taken into account when developing the product. The company values its employees and provides them with opportunities to learn.
Cons
However, the workflow process can be improved. There are times when it can be messy and disorganized, which can cause delays and frustrations. I believe that there is a need for clearer communication and better project management.
