What is the feeling of job security at Kaptyn?

Pros

The are trying to modernize the limo business.

Cons

Management is focused on acquisitions, buying new cars, and job titles. The day to day business and the employees responsible are very neglected. Basic security is non existent. Training is non existent. Communication is non existent. And it's your fault fire not taking ownership when you don't know something. Incompetent middle management.

Advice to Management

Fire all the middle managers and hire people that that have actual experience. Let the limited remaining talent do their job. Quit preaching core values you are ignoring yourselves.

How are senior leaders perceived at Kaptyn?

Pros

They have Teslas and the drivers are good for the most part

Cons

Management is horrible. They will throw away employees if there is anything they don't like with no explanation. There is NO transparency and no chance to improve or even learn. They will just get rid of anyone they don't like and there are strong indications that they let their personal bigotry dictate who they want to be employed by the company. They desperately need a competent HR department. If for no other reason than to get upper management to do the right thing and quit violating so many regulations and employee relations issues. A good HR department might be able to start addressing the toxic culture and show them that the way they treat their hard-working employees is not beneficial to the future of the company and in fact, if it continues to go unchecked could cause irreparable harm. I cannot recommend this company. If you are even thinking about working for or with this company I would say run away as far and as fast as you can. If you've already taken a job I would highly recommend being very very conscious of your surroundings because if you are not the "type" of person they like you will be fired with no explanation. They are also sinking fast. They have pissed off most of their clients and trying desperately to keep partnerships that are not yet finalized. They are also desperately afraid of being sued.

No advice. The three main managers lie so much I highly doubt there is anything that anyone (other then a lawyer or judge) could say that would convince them to make any changes. It's unlikely that the company will be around much longer anyway.
