What is paid time off like at KellyMitchell Group?

Pros

The recruiter I worked with was very responsive in the beginning. They do offer 5 paid holidays, you can accrue up to 10 PTO days in a year & you get 2 sick days. Insurance is also offered.

Cons

The compensation package was much less than others in the same position at the same place. 2 sick days a year is a joke! 5 holidays is nothing & accruing 10 days the first year takes forever! The health insurance is expensive. No matter which plan you pick...you have a high deductible. I pay almost $300/month for myself & I’m a healthy 30something. The recruiter became less responsive the longer I was at the client’s. Other vendor partners came regularly and gave their employees mugs or pens or treats for the entire office. Kelly Mitchell did none of that.

Advice to Management

Be more competitive with pay & benefit packages. Don’t forget about your consultants. They are the ones making sure YOU get a check.

Does KellyMitchell Group offer massages?

Pros

Free meal once a month “Happy hour” that includes drinking one beer alone at your desk while working in between sips

Cons

Micromanagement is truly unbearable, no lunch breaks. Can’t go off line for 30 minutes while eating lunch without someone yelling at you. No work life balance = 10-12 hour work days.

Advice to Management

Truly sad how number focused you are. You guys have such great employees & I don’t know a single person on my team that isn’t looking for new jobs. Notice how no one stays longer than 6 months. The problem is with the lower management and needs to be fixed or you will lose amazing employees

Does KellyMitchell Group offer relocation assistance?

Pros

- Young work environment - You get free drinks if you are into partying at work.. - Decent benefits package

Cons

- Always feeling like you and the people around you are on the chopping block - Work is your life, forget getting home on time and always having to come in early - Unrealistic goals - Training is terrible...simply sending people to slaughter hoping you figure it out - Lets go of 50% of workers within 6 months, be prepared to get a new job

Advice to Management

Actually care about your employees. Don't treat them like a number. You fire people left and right and make empty promises with unrealistic goals.

Does KellyMitchell Group offer dental insurance?

Pros

Just started a contract position with one of KellyMitchell's clients. The on-boarding process was excellent. Their team is in contact continually to ensure that there are no issues. They also provide affordable heath, dental, vision, life, and LTD benefits for contract positions which is difficult to find these days. W-2 rates are very competitive. Highly recommended!

Cons

None whatsoever. No issues at all.

Advice to Management

Keep up the outstanding effort. Your team has been a pleasure to work with.

Does KellyMitchell Group offer family leave?

Pros

Unlimited growth potential (you control your own success) Extremely supportive leadership (unmatched) Work life balance (work really hard - play hard) Company culture is absolutely amazing (co-workers, support system and friends) Full benefits available (for you and/or your family) Cross market support (this is hard to find, especially in a sales organization) Company wide recognition (a great call, day, week, year will never go unrecognized)

Cons

Long days on occasion, although the return of a long day is typically success/closing deals... so not a true con!
