Does Kindred Healthcare offer massages?

Pros

one lunch break whenever you want, cafeteria food is good/cheap and free drinks for employees. I was the one who recently set up the phlebotomy room to look more office-like and they resp manager didn't mind! <3

Cons

Worked Kindred Central, MICE EVERYWHERE, shift is 3AM-11AM so if you take CTA Don't even bother applying, Youre the ONLY Phlebotomist, pay is 13.53 (the Chicago Min wage is going to be 13 coming summer so their offered pay for certified healthcare work is a slap in the face to even new phlebotomists,) MAJORITY of patients are HARD sticks and bedridden, NIGHT staff have toxic attitudes (I was warned and thought it wasn't too bad until I worked a solo night) sadly as the ONLY phlebotomist there youre expected to draw all 80 tubes before the next auto-lable print 4 hours into the shift even though I was promised "Low number" Draws which is why they say they didn't pay much because its "easy". Phlebotomists are in charge of Phlebotomy supply stocking as well as supply ordering for the hospital including phone calls to the supplier and lab specimen pick-ups if its a STAT

Advice to Management

please PLEASE exterminate those MICE, hire 2 phlebotomists minimum, 13.53 is a slap in the face for a hard stick, 80+ solo draw 3AM-11am Shift (because its only doable with people who have cars) please scale the payment in line with min wage because seriously.. why even get certified in this field if youre going to pay less than say footlocker?? or being a shopping cart pusher?? cmon. hire someone who KNOWS how to use the terminal system. I was being trained by an AMAZING WOMAN but there was things even she didn't know because she wasn't a phlebotomist
